Once we’ve settled on the final design from the sketches, I’ll drape the pattern for your garment, using a dressform that has been adapted to your measurements. From this drape, I’ll sew a muslin, which is a mockup of your garment, most often in cotton fabric, to fit you in. This muslin fitting is the most important step in the custom design process because it serves as the blueprint for your garment, guiding me to the perfect fit for you. A half deposit of the total cost of the garment is due at the muslin fitting.
